Welcome Statement
Epiphany Lutheran Church is a neighborhood Christian community in south Minneapolis. We affirm the words of the apostle Paul: "There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28).
We believe all people share the worth that comes from being loved and forgiven children of God - regardless of race, age, culture, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, family status, gender identity, or economics. We welcome all those who make an affirmation of faith in Jesus Christ to participate fully in our congregation.
With the Minneapolis Area Synod, Epiphany Lutheran Church is a "Reconciling in Christ" congregation that welcomes gay and lesbian people.
Approved by the Church Council, 24 Oct. 2005
Epiphany Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). It is also one of six Lutheran congregations that belong to the City South Cluster.
